Went to the movies with Alex and Anneka to see X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Which wasn't bad, it had Dominic Monoghan in it which I hadn't known, and also Liev Schrieber. Excitement. I still liked the first X-Men movie the best and this movie made me really, really want to see that one again.
Got home, milled around for awhile, went on said walk etc, and then watched half of My Man Godfrey with my family before the Xbox crapped out on us

Then my mum and I finished it in my room. She was both shocked and disappointed in the ending which I found surprising. I thought the ending was both hilarious and slightly predictable. Ah well.
I had left it up to my family to decide between 7 movies that I really wanted to watch and they had chosen Godfrey because none of them had seen it. But I really really wanted to watch The Scarlet Pimpernel (I miss my Leslie Howard!)

So I brushed my teeth, got into my pajamas and did so. The evening from then on was spent in much glee as I watched the film in full, something I haven't done since I first got it (I've seen this movie many many times but usually just skip through to my favourite parts, this time I watched the whole thing and rewound my favourite parts over and over a few times) I'm such a fangirl. I wish my copy of the DVD wasn't such crap. I rented the video from the library once and it was actually better than my copy of the DVD (my dvd isn't a copy...I mean to say my version of the DVD, assuming there is a better version out there somewhere as the VHS copy is in fact better than my DVD...understand?)
What a great day.
