Tuesday

Seems it must have been particularly boring. Worked for my dad at some point in the day, worked at avondale 4-11...went to Shay's afterwards and was there for an hour and then went home. Had a strange encounter with a guy on the drive home. Strange place to meet someone, past midnight on a drive home.

Wednesday

worked for my dad in the morning, then went to Laura's for a cuppa tea and slice o'pie and to see her new room. LOVES! Chatted about odds'n'ends and I left for Shay's. Picked up Shay and drove to my place, watched more of Toy Story and then ate dinner with the family. Did the dishes and then went to class. It was particularly dreadful because we had seminar (and we have our prof for our TA once more, but this time its not sweet and funny Shannon but annoying and obscure Duncan. Gr) where I no longer felt like one half of the popular "Toxic Twosome" but I felt like a dunce. Gr. Class wasn't much better. Luckily we have some people to share shadowy knowing glances with during the lecture. Keith, Lani, Brianne, etc. Oh boy, wrote a classic episode of Stuffy Elevator during lecture though. Wish Shay had posted it on FB but she's got more on her plate than I do at present perhaps. Went home...can't remember what I did when I got there. Oh yes, watched an episode of "Peep Show". Or two.

Thursday

did my school readings all morning (was surprised that it took all morning) and then went to work at my dad's for 5 hours. (more like 4) then drove home, scarfed down some dinner and went to work at A-dale until 11. Came home and watched more "Peep Show"

Friday

decided on which texts to use for my essay (mostly by rereading and reorganizing the texts) had lunch at Swiss Chalet with Alex, then walked to DQ (she and Anneka are seeking employment there) and then spent an hour in Chapters. Lovely visit. Dropped her off, nipped into Shopper's (can't remember what for) and then went to work early so I could a) pay off my tab and b) do at least one of my jobs early so I could get them all done. Customer brought me dinner, it was very sweet. Shay and Paul (her bf) ended up coming at around 9:45 and were there for an hour, so I closed pretty late. Watched multiple episodes of "Peep Show" when I got home.

Saturday

dad woke me up (this is odd, he never wakes me up, rarely enters my room...in fact nobody ever wakes me up) with coffee. I started underlining, hilighting stuff in my texts for my essay and then was surprised because parents decided to take us all out for breakfast at Angel's diner (the occasion: my birthday) which was splendid. I had eggs benedict :) Screw you diet! (mine WAS the only one to come with fresh fruit though :) got home and worked some more on my texts (read: watched copious amounts of HPB hype...CAN NOT WAIT) then I'll be going to work again. Was a little disappointed because I was only going to work until 7 because Jenn wanted the other half of my shift and (for the sake of my essay, and also my sanity, I've had a 37 hr work week, plus 7hrs of school, me tiiired) I was happy to let her have it, but she texted me this morning to say she couldn't do it after all. Then I asked her if she wanted my Tuesday shift and she said she couldn't do it. Which means I have to work on my birthday. Its ok, I was already resigned to that, because I've been scheduled there for a few weeks now. I just didn't bother to book it off, its not like I had plans anyways.

Still trying to work out camping. So far I can't get the friday night off which puts a wrench in things. Alex's mum might be able to drive us up saturday (that's IF she ends up coming) otherwise it might not happen. Mum'n'dad were entertaining the idea of going up there for the day and dropping me off with you lot, but I think they're reconsidering that too. Bah. It would be nice if it could work out, but for now I'm resigning myself to the possibility that it might not.

Really excited for the midnight show of HPB. Wonder when tix will go on sale for that. Also wondering if anybody is interested in going to the carnival in port with me on Canada day for $25. I don't mind paying the $25 for unlimited rides, but the trouble is, I can't find anyone else yet with matched enthusiasm. Also, Alex and I are haphazardly planning a day at CWL, we've decided Sunday would be the best day of the week, any takers? We'd love it if we could get a car from Niagara and a car from Waterloo. :) We could meet there in the morning, leave there at night, if we left around 8 we wouldn't get back to our homes too too late, you'd be fine for school/work monday morning. Puweeze.
