So yesterday the family and I went down to Toronto because Esther was throwing a fete. We were an hour or so early so we decided to tromp around Queen St. W. so we were walking along, went into one or two stores and then turned down into one of the residential streets along there and G and I turned into the park but the parents didn't want to "come to the city to walk through a park" losers. So this is where the adventure begins (we've condensed it):

1. Ditched by parents.
2. Take to the park.
3. "Trinity Bellview Park"
4. "Trinity Bellview Park Community Recreation Centre"
G+I - "How can we get involved?" = Child Youth Program == pairing kids in the community with helpful young people as mentors/free babysitters
5. Babysitting 2 girls from GB (accents!)
6. uh OH! Cyclist! BANG! whoops
7. Girl from program: "You guys are outta here!"
8. Us: "FINE!...jerks"
9. Next stop: Candy Factory Lofts, us: "Nice digs!"
10. But wait...G:"TERMITES!" J:"Sick, we're outta here."
11. Next stop: Coca's, but they're full, but we're invited, but we're early
12. Back to the park. Meet a cool band - yippee.
13. Invite them back to Coca's - cool.
14. Free show in the park which should be supremo but they play a bad song :(
15. Back to the resto. Another free show in exchange for food and drinks.
16. Invitation to their 8 o'clock gig, us: "No thanks, we don't like your music. But we can still be friends :)" "Coo'"
17. Uh Oh, we don't have a place to stay! Invitation to their wicked cool band-type loft.
18. Triple AAA, AWESOME! ThAnKeS dUdEs...
19. Back at the party: Mum+Dad: "Yawn, time to go home" us: "OK, good day"
20. Slept all the way home

actually we didn't sleep all the way home, we ended up taking esther's friend and her baby home (they lived in hamilton) and then parents took us to Stoney Creek dairy for ice cream which were humongous and delish.
